Global HI CEO Meeting – In a Word Cloud

I am an unapologetic fan of word clouds.   So when the annual meeting of 30+ Hostelling International CEOs wrapped up last week in Cologne, Germany, I found myself doodling during the flight home to represent the words and concepts that received most attention.

So here’s my briefest blog post yet. The size and density of the typeface reflects my representation of the frequency of topics mentioned during CEO discussions.

(For those less enthusiastic about word clouds than I am, in a nutshell, while the increasingly austere world economy framed the HI CEO discussions, it did not dampen them.  With leadership from the International Office, the focus was forward looking, on timely initiatives that are likely to improve our  mission and business success in the years ahead.)
